Providing Reusables with WiFi Information
Reusables devices can connect to virtually any network type that is made available to vendors or more broadly available at your installation
For the following network types, have your IT team share the relevant details and review the notes included here. Network types are listed in order of preference. If your team will create a dedicated network for Reusables, please consider the hierarchy listed here.

| 3 | Open network, may require accepting terms and conditions | SSID | Let us know if we can pre-authorize devices on this network via their MAC addresses to bypass splash screens This network type is typically the most problematic and is ideally avoided |
In all cases, if device MAC addresses are required to create allow-rules on your network, we will provide these as soon as the devices destined for your installation are selected.
5ghz networks
Section titled “5ghz networks”Important note regarding 5ghz networks
Smart Return Bins (SRB) units CANNOT connect to 5ghz networks, only the 2.4ghz band. Please advise us if your campus is 5ghz only. Those SRB units will then use LTE only.

- If MAC addresses need to be submitted ahead of time for this network
- If an open network, include any additional steps required to join the network, such as accepting a terms and conditions page. Ideally, include the URL of the Terms and Conditions page.
- If using WPA Enterprise, detail how user accounts will be setup for Reusables be it a single shared credential, a credential per device type, or a credential per device
- Any other relevant details, such as if this network is being created for Reusables, or if the network is hidden, or 5ghz only and so forth
